Dave Lowe is a creative “jack of all trades” with thirty years of experience.

His vast and varied career has earned him many credited titles – Production Designer, Set Designer, Art Director, Propmaster, Propmaker, Illustrator, and Cartoonist to list a few. He is also a three time EMMY nominated Consulting Producer for his recent work on Hallmark Channel’s daily lifestyle show “Home & Family”.

After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design, Dave started illustrating children’s books for Lowell House publishing and Checkerboard Press. During that time he took a job as a Production Assistant on Nickelodeon’s “Wild & Crazy Kids”. Producers noted his artistic skills and he was soon starting a second career designing sets and making props for television shows.

Dave went on to create many of the sets seen in the mid 90’s on the SyFy Channel and HGTV when those networks initially launched. He worked helping to design countless projects for the growing DIY market at the time.

Since then, he has worked with many famous and notable television lifestyle experts, making them look good as a “ghost” behind the scenes. Over the past 30 plus years his work has been seen on numerous networks and showcased for special events and trade shows.

Fun fact – Dave is also a credited Nickelodeon “Slimemaster” – his particular recipe for Slime created while working on the game show “Brainsurge” has been added to the network’s archive.

Making things is Dave’s life and passion. It doesn’t matter if the job is a simple illustration, finding a small prop, or designing a massive set. He dives in head first bringing all his life work experiences to every project.
